  • Ahhh...

    Hello Everyone!

Well, alot has happened. We went on vacation to Florida, which provided a much needed break for our family. We were able to chillax, and visit the beach, pool, and watch cable. In Emerald (our homeschool group) I took a "How to write a Research Paper" class, and a "Drive Thru History" class. They were both hard classes, and take some of my highschool credits. I'm doing biology, algebra, and literature. I'm doing 8th grade, with 9th grade work. I've decided that I'm going to work through the summer. I'm hoping to be done with all my deskwork by the time I'm 16, and my mom is going to help me meet that goal. Then I can take collage level classes, or something.

My brothers have all been sick, but I got over it 3 weeks ago! Thankfully. :)

The most exciting thing that is going to happen is that a wonderful friend of mine who lives in Canada is going to come down and visit with her family for a week! We met online about a year ago, and we're both "Narnia Nuts". We're making costumes and are going to see "Prince Caspian" together!! EXCITING!! We've been planning since October.

Ummmm... I saw my first PG-13 movie. If that counts as "news". Spiderman was the one I saw.

    I'm off!

    TOODLES!

  • Hello

    Hello everyone.

I still come on here every once in a while, but xanga is pretty dead. I've almost completely switched to facebook, but I might quit that, just because there is SO much bad stuff on there. Of course, I steer away from that, but...

Alrightie. On the 7th is Nathan's birthday. And on the 9th is my birthday. He'll be 11, and I'll be 14. Which means I'll finally be able to be in a different group (where most of my friends are anyway) in our homeschool group... and I don't have to be the oldest in my group! Hip Hip Hooray!

Of course I have my other xanga blog: xanga.com/bakingcowgirl

I'll be posting recipes there. I only have one up now, but I'll probably put on another one in the next couple days, so please keep on checking!

I have just started Algebra 1. Andrew is doing his last math curriculam: Algebra 2. (He's done Geometry already). Michael's on Algebra 2. And Nathan is about to start Epsilon. Algebra isn't to hard for me, but what I've done of Geometry really throws me off! So I guess you could say I prefer Algebra to Geometry.

On the 9th we're going to Bethany's (go to Andrew's blog if you don't know who she is! ;) ) 18th birthday! I'm trying to decide exactly what to get her. Probably jewelry, or some Pirates of the Caribbean thing. Of course, it would have to be Jack Sparrow. (After all, she is going to marry him! ;) JK! He's just her favorite character).

MESSAGE FOR CHRISTA: My mom wouldn't let me buy a ring that was $2.50. *shocked face*. She says it's to much money for a joke, she just doesn't know how serious we are! ;)

Today was election day! GO RON PAUL!!!!!! Michael voted for the first time, GO MICHAEL. So righ now I'm cheering on Ron Paul. He would be like the best President ever! I guess if he can't win I would go for Mike Huckabee. But I'm waving a RP banner right now. ;) Just don't let Hillary win!

A couple nights ago my parents were talking about making a "Cooking for Teens" show for TV. I think it'd be tons of fun, and they were actually pretty serious.. I think. ;) Of course they might change their minds, but if it's a good way to get money, and all, I would LOVE to do it. :) :)

    Well, I'll be back sometime!

  • Sorry I haven't been posting..

    Hello Everyone!

    HAPPY FEBRUARY!!!!!

I haven't been doing to much. Tomorrow we are having some of our friends, The Nelsen's, over. We do art lessons with them. Tomorrows lesson looks really easy, but some of the lessons are super hard!

Today we went running errands. We went to the library, and Hobby Lobby. We also went to Circuit City to look at some big screen TVs that we are thinking about buying. I saw some Spider Man 3, Harry Potter, Dead Man's Chest, The Day after Tomorrow, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and a few that I didn't know what they were. Fun Fun Fun! *Leah groans in pain because she just squashed her arm, and it's hurting*

I made Cherry Chocolate Carmel Upside Down Cake tonight, I hope it turns out. Ohh.. we're watching the results of Super Tuesday tonight. - GO RON PAUL!!! AND IF YOU LOSE, GO MIKE HUCKABEE, BUT MOSTLY RON PAUL! Lol. And we're also watching American Idol. My favorite judge is Simon. Last week there were some REALLY BAD people on there!! I like the bad people better then the good people. *starts to laugh*. My favorites are: The man singing "WHO OHHHHHH! LIVING ON A PRAYOR!" and "Brothers Forever".

I have to go, but I'll try to post soon. Here is a link to my newest blog:

  • STUFF!!!

Well, the past couple days I have been watched some of "The Waltons" TV show. It's pretty good, though Michael and Andrew think some parts are rather cheesy. I like the family because they respect each other, and that is rather hard to find now-a-days, you have to admit! Once John Boy (Yes, they do call him John Boy) yells to his brothers "SHUT UP!!!" and then as an after thought "Please!" Now, I've never heard anyone doing that before!!!

On friday we watched a VeggieTales with Nathan. "The Wizard of Ha." It was rather funny, though we fast-forward through the songs because they are boring!!! The Pig (TuTu) was the funniest character in the world! And the Yellow Old Toad. He was funny.

Um, lets see, I haven't seen National Treasure 2 yet, though I really want to. I'll probably see that in the dollar theater. I haven't seen Becoming Jane, or Amazing Grace, or the Nativity Story, or alot of other movies yet to!

Hmmm... this post is all about movies.

Oh! I'm going to a teen library program. I go to almost every teen event they have, because I love to do stuff with friends. Ruby and Emerald are starting soon. So I'm looking forward to that.

Umm.. still working on school. It's fine I guess. I tell people I'm in 8 1/2 grade, because I'm doing such a broad range of work! I'm working on Spanish. It's going pretty good, though there was a hard lesson last week. I finally figured it out though! YAY!!!

Right now I'm kind of half planing a costume. In May, I invited a friend who lives in Canada, that I met over the internet, to come to Ohio, and watch "Prince Caspian" with me. She accepted, and we're planning on either dressing the same (Narnia shirt,ect..) or planning costumes. I think I'm going to make the green dress that Susan wears after she comes to Aslan's camp. Though I might wear the school dress that Susan wears in Prince Caspian.

    Bye!

  • *moans*

Okay, from the title, you can probably conclude that somethings wrong. Well, it is. I am SO tired. Wonder why? I'll tell you.

4:30 AM: Leah wakes up cramping really bad.

5:00: Leah goes wakes up mom, because the cramping is getting steadily worse.

5:30: Leah has heating pad, and food (so she can take a painkiller), but it isn't helping.

    6:00 Leah Breaks Sweat

    6:30: Leah throws up.

    7:00: Leah breaks another sweat.

7:30: Leah goes to restroom, and comes back and  throws up again.

8:00: Leah wishes she was dead.

    8:30: Leah breaks another sweat.

9:00: Leah falls asleep (at last!)

    10: 30 - 12:00: Leah doesn't have to do Math! Yay!

1:00 - 8:00: Leah watches a movie, rests, sleeps, drinks pop, and tea, and juice, and plays Nintendo.

    ______________________________________________________________________________

So, that about sums it up. So yeah, I wasn't feeling great. But I'm better now.

    Bye!

I think that if you post a comment on a post, then you don't need to sign your name. It does it automaticly. But if your doing a Chatboard (which is this), you should probably say, Whitelinen. Or whatever you want. (I'll ask Michael or Andrew)

Leah, Enjoying your blog. Didn't know you got so hungry in History. You need a bigger breakfast! I'm new at this chatting thing. Am I supposed to sign this Mommy or Whitelinen, or does it do it automatically? I'm a NOVICE! Love you, M
